Criteria within the traditional risk management equation used to arrive at a risk rating for entry in a risk register. This has resulted in many risks not being considered as significant. ARPI® maintains that one of the criteria must govern the conversation – namely, consequence – because today, risk is based in vulnerability and concerned with consequence.
